Author's Guidelines

Mine Closure 2009 Abstract Preparation

Intending authors are requested to prepare and submit their abstracts before 16 February 2009 to the ACG via acg@acg.uwa.edu.au. Abstracts are to be submitted in a Word document and should be limited to less than 500 words. The abstract is to provide a general scope of the work, a summary of the results, and the significance of the work and applications. It should also include the title, authors’ affiliations, and the contact author’s address, telephone and fax numbers and email address.

All accepted written papers will be peer reviewed and published in the Mine Closure 2009 Proceedings. Maximum paper length is 12 A4 size pages. Authors will be notified of abstract acceptance via email in March 2009.

Mine Closure 2009 Paper Guidelines

To achieve a uniform style throughout the ACG's 2009 proceedings of the Fourth International Conference on Mine Closure, all papers are to be prepared according to the author guidelines and document template.

Your paper should be formatted in Microsoft Word, using the template supplied on this page, and emailed to the Australian Centre for Geomechanics. Maximum paper length is 12 A4 pages.

Alternatively, you can upload your manuscript and completed copyright form to our upload site, following these simple upload instructions.

Your manuscript should be print ready and delivered to the Australian Centre for Geomechanics by 27 April 2009.
